Krytka pre patch panely Extralink SC Duplex, čierna, ABS

End cap for patch panels Extralink SC Duplex, black, ABS is a protective closure designed for unused SC Duplex adapter openings on fiber patch panels and wall-mounted fiber boxes. Manufactured from black ABS, the cap fits the dimensions of SC Duplex and LC quad connectors to provide a compact barrier that helps prevent dust, debris and accidental contact with exposed fiber connectors.

Advantages

The end cap offers a durable, impact-resistant housing made of ABS that resists cracking and deformation in typical indoor installation environments. Its precise fit reduces air-borne contamination at unused ports and helps preserve connector cleanliness without adding bulky components to the panel. The black finish provides a neutral, unobtrusive appearance compatible with common rack and wall box designs.

Suitable for

• Fiber optic patch panels with SC Duplex ports
• Wall-mounted fiber enclosures and termination boxes
• Spare or decommissioned SC/UPC and SC/APC adapter openings
• Environments where connector cleanliness and organization are required

Key specifications

• Material: acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS)
• Color: black
• Port form factor compatibility: SC Duplex and LC quad dimensional match
• Connector compatibility: SC/UPC and SC/APC adapter openings
• Function: protective dust and debris closure for unused fiber ports

How to use

Align the end cap with the unused SC Duplex adapter opening and press gently until the cap seats securely in the adapter cavity. Ensure the cap is fully inserted so it creates a stable barrier; it should be removable by pulling straight out when the port is required. No tools or adhesives are necessary for installation or removal.

Recommendations

Store spare end caps in a clean, dry place and inspect caps for damage before use. Replace any caps showing cracks or deformation to maintain effective protection. Use caps on all unused SC Duplex openings to reduce the need for connector cleaning and to keep fiber terminations organized.
