The Stanley FATMAX 25mm Snap-Off Knife is a utility cutting tool designed for controlled, repeatable cuts in a range of materials. It has a 25 mm snap-off blade that delivers long cutting reach and easily renewed sharp edges by breaking off blade segments. The knife body is built for frequent use and provides a comfortable grip to reduce hand fatigue during extended tasks.

Advantages

The knife combines a 25 mm blade width with a robust carriage for stable cutting and increased edge exposure compared with narrower blades. Its snap-off blade system enables quick blade renewal without disassembling the tool, helping maintain consistent cutting performance. The handle shape and textured surfaces improve handling and control, while the solid construction supports repetitive professional and home use.

How to use

Extend the blade to the required length using the slider, then lock it in place to secure the blade for cutting. Perform cuts with a steady, controlled motion, keeping fingers clear of the cutting path. When the working edge becomes dull, score the blade at the designated snap line and break off the spent segment to reveal a fresh edge. Replace the blade according to the manufacturer instructions if segments are exhausted or damaged.

Recommendations

Use the knife on a stable cutting surface and apply moderate pressure to avoid blade bending. Wear appropriate hand protection when cutting tough materials and store the knife with the blade retracted. Replace blades promptly when dulled to maintain clean cuts and reduce risk of slipping.
