Why choose it

The Z50 nib is the heart of LAMY's writing system, engineered for consistent ink flow and a smooth glide across paper. The broad tip lays down a bold, wet line that showcases ink shading and character, making it a favorite for signatures and expressive writing. The black PVD finish not only looks sleek against any pen barrel but also adds a layer of corrosion resistance, ensuring long-term durability. Because it's a genuine LAMY part, you get the same precision and quality as the nib that came with your pen.

Ideal use cases

• Replacing a worn or damaged nib on your everyday LAMY fountain pen
• Switching from a finer nib to a broad for bolder handwriting or calligraphy
• Keeping spare nibs on hand for quick swaps without downtime
• Upgrading multiple pens with consistent broad nibs for uniform writing

Good to know

These nibs are designed for easy installation: simply pull off the old nib and slide on the new one—no tools required. The black PVD coating is applied over stainless steel, offering both style and protection. Each pack contains five identical broad nibs, making it a practical choice for heavy users or those who like to experiment with different inks without cleaning between nib changes.
