LANBERG RJ-45 konektor PLS-6000 Cat6 F/UTP transparentný biely, balenie 100 ks

Wire connector RJ-45 Lanberg PLS-6000 — set of 100 shielded Cat.6 RJ-45 (8P8C) plugs designed primarily for FTP LAN cables. Connectors have a stainless steel finish with a transparent body and include an integrated guide that helps position the cable correctly before termination. Triple-contact teeth allow use with both solid and stranded conductors, making the set suitable for structured long-distance installations as well as short patch-cord connections.

Advantages

The set contains 100 shielded RJ-45 Cat.6 plugs (PLS-6000) providing consistent mechanical protection and electrical shielding for FTP cables. Transparent housings allow visual verification of conductor order during termination, while the stainless steel shield improves EMI protection. The integrated guide simplifies accurate insertion of conductors and the triple-prong contacts are compatible with both solid and stranded cable cores.

How to use

Prepare the FTP Cat6 cable by stripping the outer jacket to expose the foil shield and conductor pairs. Untwist pairs to the length recommended for your crimp connector, align individual conductors according to the chosen wiring standard (e.g., T568A or T568B) and insert them straight into the plug using the integrated guide to ensure correct positioning. Use an appropriate RJ-45 crimp tool designed for shielded connectors to crimp the plug onto the cable, securing both the contacts and the shield. After crimping, verify continuity and pair order with a cable tester before installation.

Recommendations

When terminating shielded FTP cables, maintain the cable drain wire and shield continuity to the plug’s metal housing to preserve EMI protection. Use a quality crimping tool rated for shielded RJ-45 plugs and test each cable after crimping to confirm proper connectivity and signal integrity.
