Replacement LCD cover for Lenovo L 81WB BK NT, a black rear housing designed to restore the external appearance and structural protection of compatible Lenovo laptops. This rear panel is intended to replace a damaged or worn display lid and provides the mounting surface for the screen, hinges and associated connections while preserving internal components. The cover matches the original form factor and finish to ensure proper fit and alignment during repair or refurbishment.

Advantages

The replacement back housing offers a precise fit and durable construction to recover the laptop’s display module support and outer shell aesthetics. It allows straightforward installation without requiring changes to the display assembly or internal parts. The black finish maintains a professional look and helps conceal minor scratches and wear. Using a purpose-made rear housing reduces the risk of misalignment and supports hinge stability after repair.

• Repairing a laptop with a cracked, dented or scratched display lid
• Refurbishment projects to restore visual condition and resale value
• Replacing a warped or bent back cover that affects hinge operation
• Maintenance work where only the exterior rear housing needs renewal

Remove the damaged display lid by detaching screws and hinges according to the laptop model service instructions, taking care to disconnect any display cables if they route through the housing. Position the replacement rear housing and secure it with the original screws and hinge hardware, then reconnect the display cabling and test display function and hinge movement. Reassemble any trim pieces and verify that the new cover aligns correctly and that all fasteners are firmly seated.

Recommendations

Handle the replacement cover with care to avoid scratching the finish during installation. Use the correct screwdriver sizes to prevent screw head damage and follow the laptop manufacturer repair guide for disassembly and reassembly steps. If display cables or hinges show damage, replace those components before final assembly to ensure long-term durability and reliable operation.
