LED spínaný napájací zdroj QOLTEC 50948 150W 12V 12,5A vodotesný

QOLTEC 50948 is a 150W switching power supply that provides a stable 12V DC output with a maximum current of 12.5A. Designed for both indoor and outdoor LED installations, the unit features a waterproof enclosure that protects internal electronics from moisture and light environmental exposure while delivering constant-voltage power suitable for LED strips, modules and small fixtures.

Advantages

The compact switching design offers high power efficiency and reduced heat generation compared with linear supplies. A sealed, waterproof housing allows installation in exposed or damp locations without requiring additional enclosures. Built-in protection mechanisms help guard against overload, short circuit and thermal stress, supporting reliable operation in residential and commercial lighting systems.

Suitable for

• 12V LED strip lighting for kitchens, display cases and coves
• Outdoor LED signage and architectural accent lighting
• LED modules and small fixtures in damp or semi-exposed locations
• Low-voltage lighting runs in residential and commercial projects

Key specifications

• Output voltage: 12 V DC
• Maximum output power: 150 W
• Maximum output current: 12.5 A
• Supply type: switching (SMPS), constant-voltage
• Ingress protection: waterproof enclosure suitable for damp environments
• Cooling method: convection (sealed housing)
• Mounting: surface-mountable housing for fixed installations

How to use

Mount the power supply on a stable surface in a location that provides adequate ventilation and is protected from direct immersion. Connect the AC mains input according to local wiring standards, ensuring correct line, neutral and earth connections. Connect the 12V DC output to the LED load, verifying polarity and that the total load does not exceed 150W or 12.5A. After wiring, switch on the mains and confirm stable output voltage before finalizing installation.

Recommendations

For long-term reliability, avoid continuous operation at maximum rated load and allow for a margin (for example, design the load to 80–90% of rated capacity). Use appropriate cable cross-sections for the DC run to minimize voltage drop. If the unit is installed outdoors, place it where water cannot accumulate around mounting points and ensure connections are sealed. Follow local electrical codes and consult a qualified electrician for installation when required.
