Lepiaca páska 3M mäkký hliník 431 — dĺžka 55 m, šírka 25 mm

3M Weichaluminium 431 adhesive tape is a foil-backed tape supplied on a 55 m roll with a 25 mm width. The product combines an aluminum foil carrier with a pressure-sensitive adhesive to provide a conformable metallic layer suitable for sealing, patching and surface repairs where a thin metal foil is required. The roll format enables continuous application and accurate cutting for workshop, construction and maintenance use.

Advantages

The aluminum foil backing offers good thermal and light reflection and resists moisture penetration while the pressure-sensitive adhesive ensures rapid bonding to metal, plastic and many painted surfaces. The narrow 25 mm width allows precise application in tight areas and along seams. The long 55 m roll reduces the need for frequent replacements during larger jobs and supports uninterrupted work flow.

Suitable for

• Sealing seams and joints in HVAC ducts and ventilation systems
• Patching small holes and tears in metal or foil-faced materials
• Temporary surface protection and reflective repairs
• Electrical insulation shielding or cable bundling where a foil layer is needed
• General maintenance tasks in workshops and construction sites

Key specifications

• Carrier: aluminum foil
• Backing type: metallic foil
• Adhesive: pressure-sensitive adhesive suitable for metal and many painted surfaces
• Roll length: 55 m
• Width: 25 mm
• Format: continuous roll for cutting to length

How to use

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free from oil, dust or loose particles before applying the tape. Measure and cut the required length from the 55 m roll, then press the foil-backed side onto the substrate using firm pressure to ensure full contact and adhesion. For curved or irregular surfaces, apply gradually and smooth the tape to conform to contours. When sealing seams, overlap adjacent strips as needed to create a continuous metallic layer.

Recommendations

Store the roll in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. For long-term applications or where permanent watertight sealing is required, verify compatibility with substrate materials and consider surface preparation or primer if necessary. Avoid using on surfaces that are freshly painted or still curing.
