LevelOne GEP-2821 sieťový switch nespravovaný Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000) Power over Ethernet (PoE) 1U čierna

The LEVELONE GEP-2821 is an unmanaged 28-port Gigabit Ethernet switch with Power over Ethernet (PoE) support. It provides 24 Gigabit RJ-45 PoE ports plus 2 Gigabit RJ-45 and 2 Gigabit SFP uplink ports, a 56 Gbps switching capacity and an 8000-entry MAC address table. The switch complies with IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at standards and delivers a total PoE budget of 390 W for powering connected devices while fitting in a 1U rack-mount form factor.

Advantages

The GEP-2821 offers plug-and-play operation as an unmanaged switch, simple installation in standard racks, and a high aggregate switching capacity to minimise bottlenecks. With IEEE 802.3af/at compliance and a 390 W PoE budget, the unit supports a mix of powered devices and flexible power allocation across ports. A DIP switch lets you choose VLAN mode or Default mode for basic traffic separation without complex configuration.

Suitable for

• Small and medium business LAN expansion
• IP cameras and surveillance systems
• VoIP phones and wireless access point deployments
• Any PoE-powered devices requiring up to 390 W total budget

How to use

Mount the switch in a standard 1U rack or place it on a flat surface. Connect uplink ports to your core switch or router using Ethernet or SFP modules as appropriate. Attach PoE devices (IP cameras, VoIP phones, access points) to the PoE-enabled RJ-45 ports; the switch will supply power automatically according to IEEE 802.3af/at negotiation. Use the DIP switch to select VLAN mode for basic port segregation or Default mode for standard unmanaged switching.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, ensure the total PoE power consumption of connected devices does not exceed the 390 W budget. Distribute high-power devices across ports and use the uplink SFP ports for long-distance fiber connections where required. Maintain adequate ventilation and place the switch in a temperature-controlled equipment rack.
