LevelOne GEP-2861 sieťový switch spravovaný L2 Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000) Power over Ethernet (PoE) 1U čierna

The levelone GEP-2861 is a 28-port L2 Managed Gigabit PoE Switch with 24 x 10/100/1000Mbps PoE+ ports and 4 x 1000Mbps SFP uplink ports. The switch provides a total PoE budget of up to 390W, compliant with IEEE 802.3af/at, and supports up to 30W per PoE port. Designed for SMBs and enterprises, the GEP-2861 supports both rack-mount (19") and desktop installation for use in security video monitoring, network projects and similar environments.

Advantages

The GEP-2861 delivers managed L2 features including QoS, VLAN, MSTP, multicast handling, per-port management and PoE control. It offers strong electrical protection with 6kV surge protection and 6kV contact / 8kV air ESD protection. The device combines high hardware performance with flexible deployment options to simplify management and reduce total cost of ownership.

Key specifications

• Model: levelone GEP-2861
• Ports: 24 x 10/100/1000M PoE+ ports, 4 x 1000M SFP ports
• PoE standard: IEEE 802.3af/at
• Total PoE budget: up to 390W
• Max PoE per port: up to 30W
• Management: L2 features (QoS, VLAN, MSTP, multicast, port and PoE management)
• Protection: 6kV surge, 6kV contact / 8kV air ESD

How to use

Install the switch in a 19" rack or place it on a flat desktop surface. Connect SFP modules to the 1000M SFP ports if fiber uplinks are required, or use the Gigabit PoE ports for copper connections and to power compatible PoE devices. Configure L2 settings such as VLANs, QoS and MSTP through the management interface and set PoE policies per port according to device power requirements.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, ensure adequate ventilation and avoid installing the switch in locations with extreme temperature or humidity. Use compatible SFP modules and calculate the total PoE power consumption of connected devices to remain within the 390W budget.
