LevelOne GEU-0523 sieťový switch Unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000) čierna

The LevelOne GEU-0523 is an unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet switch with five 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ-45 ports designed for wire-speed, non-blocking network connectivity. It supports auto-negotiation and auto-MDI/MDIX on all ports, so no crossover cables or dedicated uplink ports are required. The switch is wall-mountable, operates from a 5 V DC input and provides a switching capacity of 10 Gbit/s with a MAC address table of 2000 entries, making it suitable for simple, cost-effective network expansion.

Advantages

The GEU-0523 delivers plug-and-play operation as an unmanaged switch, enabling quick installation without configuration. All five ports support Gigabit speeds and auto-MDI/MDIX, simplifying connections to routers, servers, hubs or other switches. Compliance with IEEE 802.3az improves energy efficiency while the compact, wall-mountable black enclosure and low weight make the device convenient for small office or home deployments.

Suitable for

• Expanding wired networks in small offices or home environments
• Connecting multiple devices such as PCs, printers, NAS and IP cameras
• Providing additional Gigabit ports to a router or existing switch

How to use

Place the LevelOne GEU-0523 on a flat surface or mount it on a wall using the mounting points. Connect the switch to a power source using the appropriate 5 V DC adapter. Insert Ethernet cables into the RJ-45 ports to link PCs, servers, printers or other network devices; the ports will auto-negotiate link speed and polarity. For uplink to a router or another switch, simply connect one of the RJ-45 ports—no special uplink port or crossover cable is required.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use standard Cat5e or higher-rated Ethernet cabling for Gigabit links, ensure adequate ventilation around the switch, and mount it in a dry, dust-free location away from heat sources. Regularly inspect connections and power supply to maintain stable network performance.
