LevelONE GVM-2000 Smart Gigabit RJ45 na SFP Media Converter, kompatibilný s 19-palcovým Rack-Mount, 10/100/1000 Mbps

The LevelONE GVM-2000 is a smart Gigabit media converter designed to seamlessly connect Ethernet (RJ45) networks to fiber optic (SFP) networks. It supports 10/100/1000 Mbps on the copper port and 100/1000 Mbps on the SFP slot, making it ideal for extending network distances or integrating fiber into existing copper infrastructures. Its compact metal housing is compatible with 19-inch rack-mount chassis, offering flexible deployment in data centers, enterprise networks, and industrial environments.

Advantages

This converter provides reliable, high-speed connectivity with advanced features such as IEEE 802.1Q VLAN tagging, IEEE 802.1p Quality of Service (QoS), and IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) to reduce power consumption. Link Fault Pass-Through (LFP) ensures immediate fault notification, simplifying network troubleshooting. Auto-negotiation and Auto MDI/MDI-X eliminate the need for crossover cables, while jumbo frame support up to 9K bytes optimizes data throughput.

Suitable for

• Extending network reach beyond 100 meters using fiber optic cabling
• Connecting switches, routers, and servers in enterprise or data center racks
• Integrating fiber segments into existing copper Ethernet networks
• Deployments requiring VLAN segmentation and traffic prioritization

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use a compatible SFP module (e.g., LevelONE GSF-xxxx series) and ensure proper ventilation when mounting in a rack. This converter is plug-and-play; no configuration is required for basic operation. Advanced VLAN and QoS settings can be managed via DIP switches (if available) or through the web interface (if supported).
