Lezecké lano EDELRID Se Puffin 9,8 mm, 70 m, dynamické jednoduché lano, rôzne farby

EDELRID Se Puffin 9.8 mm, 70 m is a single dynamic climbing rope intended for sport climbing, gym use and general mountaineering. With a 9.8 mm diameter and 70 m length, this rope balances manageability and strength for lead climbing, top-roping and multi-pitch approaches where a single rope is specified. The construction is aimed at delivering predictable stretch for fall absorption, consistent handling during belaying and sufficient durability for frequent use in varied climbing environments.

Advantages

The 9.8 mm diameter provides a compromise between low weight and good handling characteristics, making the rope suitable for both indoor gym sessions and outdoor sport routes. A 70 m length enables long sport routes or comfortable top-rope setups and rapelling options. The dynamic single-rope design is optimized to absorb fall energy while remaining easy to feed through belay devices and quickdraws. Assorted color options help with rope identification and visual tracking on routes.

How to use

Before each use inspect the full length of the rope for cuts, abrasions or soft spots and verify end terminations are secure. Use the rope with belay devices and anchors rated for single-rope operation, and follow standard climber safety procedures when tying knots and attaching harnesses. Pay attention to rope handling while feeding it through quickdraws and belay devices to maintain smooth movement. After climbing, clean dirt and grit from the rope by rinsing with lukewarm water and allowing it to dry away from direct heat and sunlight.

Recommendations

Store the rope coiled in a dry, cool place away from chemicals and UV exposure; retire the rope if it sustains a significant fall, visible damage, or shows signs of internal wear. For technical guidance on rope retirement, maintenance intervals and dynamic rope safety follow manufacturer instructions and industry standards for single dynamic ropes.
