Lindy 15m Cat.6A S/FTP Locking sieťový kábel, sivý

The Lindy Cat.6A Locking Network Cable 15m is a shielded S/FTP Ethernet cable designed for reliable 10 Gigabit networks and secure, tamper-resistant installations. The cable supports frequencies up to 500 MHz and uses braid plus foil shielding for each pair to reduce interference. A locking security key secures the RJ-45 plug to prevent accidental or unauthorized removal. The cable is supplied with a halogen-free (LSZH) outer sheath and is packaged individually.

Advantages

This Cat.6A cable provides S/FTP shielding for improved noise immunity and stable signal transmission at up to 10GBase-T. The RJ-45 connector features gold-plated contacts to maintain corrosion-free connections and a snagless strain-relief design to protect the connector latch during installation. The locking mechanism adds physical security by allowing removal only with the supplied key. The LSZH jacket reduces smoke and eliminates halogen emissions, making it suitable for public and enclosed spaces.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GBase-T) network backbones and switches
• Secure installations where cable removal must be restricted
• Office, data centre and public-space cabling requiring low-smoke halogen-free materials
• High-interference environments that benefit from S/FTP shielding

Key specifications

• Cable type: Cat.6A S/FTP (braid overall + foil per pair)
• Length: 15 m
• Bandwidth / frequency: up to 500 MHz
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Sheath material: LSZH (halogen-free)
• Locking: Security key locks in the plug; removal only with supplied key

How to use

Insert one RJ-45 connector into the network device port and the other into the corresponding switch, router or patch panel port until the locking mechanism engages. Use the supplied security key to lock the plug in place for tamper resistance. To remove the cable, insert the security key into the lock and turn or press according to the key design, then gently withdraw the connector. Avoid excessive bending near the connectors and maintain recommended bend radius for Cat.6A cables.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat.6A S/FTP cable in installations matching 10GBase-T specifications and keep connectors clean and free of debris. Avoid running the cable parallel and close to high-voltage power lines; when routing near electrical interference sources, maintain separation or use dedicated cable management to preserve signal integrity.
