Lindy 20m Cat.6 S/FTP sieťový kábel, sivý

The Lindy 20m RJ-45 Cat6 Grey network cable is a shielded S/FTP patch cable designed to meet ISO 11801 standards. It features gold-plated contacts and RJ45 connectors for reliable connectivity to computers, routers, switches, printers and NAS devices. The cable comes in a durable grey jacket and is supplied in a polybag; coloured variants are available for structured cabling in racks and wall cabinets.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference for stable data transmission across Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000Base-T(X)). Gold-plated pins maintain signal integrity and corrosion resistance. A snagless strain-relief connector protects the latch during installation and removal, extending connector life. The 20 m length offers flexibility for equipment placement in server rooms, offices and home networks.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet connections (Gigabit)
• Structured cabling in server racks and wall cabinets
• Data centres, server rooms and rack spaces
• Connecting routers, switches, network printers and NAS
• AV installations and security systems

Key specifications

• Standard: ISO 11801
• Category: Cat.6
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Shielding: S/FTP
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contacts: Gold plated

How to use

Route the cable between devices ensuring the jacket is not excessively bent or pinched. Insert the RJ‑45 connector firmly into the device port until the latch clicks. For rack installations, label both ends and use cable management accessories to maintain bend radius and reduce strain on connectors. When disconnecting, press the latch to release the connector before pulling.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to power lines for long distances and keep bends within the recommended radius. Use the S/FTP Cat6 cable for Gigabit applications and replace if the jacket or connectors show visible damage.
