Lindy 47373 sieťový kábel čierny 1,5 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy Cat.6 S/FTP RJ-45 Cat6 1.5m Black is a 1.5‑metre networking cable engineered for gigabit Ethernet environments. Constructed to support 10/100/1000Base‑T(X) cabling technology, the cable uses S/FTP (shielded foiled twisted pair) construction to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Both ends are fitted with gold‑plated RJ‑45 connectors to maintain reliable contact and consistent signal transfer. The black jacket provides a discreet appearance suitable for home, office or data centre installations.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding improves noise immunity compared with unshielded cables, helping to maintain stable throughput in environments with nearby electrical equipment. The Cat6 specification supports higher frequency bandwidth than Cat5e, enabling reliable gigabit data rates over typical horizontal cable runs. Gold‑plated RJ‑45 connectors give durable contact surfaces that resist corrosion and contribute to consistent network performance. The 1.5 m length offers flexibility for patching between devices and switches without excess cable slack.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Connecting computers, switches and routers in small offices and home networks
• Patch connections in server rooms and network cabinets
• High‑speed data transfer for media streaming and VoIP
• Environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is required

How to use

Identify the network ports on your devices and plug one RJ‑45 connector into the network interface of the computer, router or switch, and the other connector into the corresponding port. Ensure connectors click firmly to confirm a secure connection. For wall‑mounted patch panels or keystone jacks, route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for Ethernet cabling. After connection, validate link status on the devices and run a network speed or ping test if verification is required.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6 S/FTP cable where gigabit performance and improved EMI protection are needed. Avoid running the cable parallel to high‑voltage power lines for long distances and keep cable runs free from tight bends. For permanent in‑wall installations, follow local cabling codes and consider using plenum‑rated cable if required by building regulations.
