Lindy 47377 sieťový kábel čierny 7,5 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy Cat.6 S/FTP RJ-45 7.5m Black is a 7.5 metre shielded Ethernet cable designed for reliable Gigabit network connections. Constructed to Cat6 performance, the cable uses S/FTP shielding and twisted-pair conductors to reduce interference and crosstalk. Both ends terminate in gold-plated RJ-45 plugs to maintain consistent contact quality and resist corrosion. The black outer jacket provides a discreet, professional appearance suitable for visible office or home installations.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs to provide improved protection against electromagnetic interference in environments with multiple cables or electronic equipment. Cat6 performance and 10/100/1000Base-T(X) compatibility support high-speed data transmission up to gigabit Ethernet rates. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors enhance contact reliability and longevity, while the 7.5 m length offers extended reach for flexible placement of devices without need for extensions.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops and network switches within offices or homes
• Wiring network devices in small server rooms or equipment racks
• Linking media players, smart TVs and networked storage for high-bandwidth streaming
• Temporary or permanent installations where reduced interference is required

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Length: 7.5 m
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X) (Gigabit Ethernet compatible)
• Colour: Black

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the network port of the devices you intend to link, ensuring the clip clicks into place. Use the cable to connect routers, switches, computers, media devices or network-attached storage. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and protect it from pinch points or heavy foot traffic. For best performance, avoid running the cable in parallel alongside high-power electrical wiring for extended distances.

Recommendations

For consistent gigabit performance, verify both network ports support 1000 Mbps and use appropriate switch or router settings. In installations with many adjacent cables or significant electromagnetic sources, prefer shielded ports and properly grounded equipment to maximise the effectiveness of the S/FTP shielding.
