Lindy 47734 sieťový kábel červený 2 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy Cat.6 S/FTP RJ-45 2m Red networking cable is a 2-metre Cat6 patch cable designed for reliable gigabit Ethernet connections in home and office environments. It uses S/FTP shielding to minimise electromagnetic and crosstalk interference, and features RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to maintain stable signal transfer. The red jacket makes cable runs easy to identify in crowded racks and desk setups while supporting 10/100/1000Base-T(X) network speeds.

Advantages

S/FTP construction combines an overall screen with individually foil-shielded pairs to reduce noise and preserve signal integrity over the cable length. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve conductivity and resist corrosion for long-term reliability. The 2 m length offers flexibility for connecting devices without excess slack, and the coloured jacket helps with visual cable management.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktops, laptops and network switches within offices or homes
• Patch panel to switch connections in server cabinets or racks
• Small office/home office (SOHO) LAN setups requiring gigabit performance
• Temporary or permanent desk-level networking where cable identification is useful

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall shield + foil per pair)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 2 m
• Supported speeds: 10/100/1000Base-T(X) gigabit Ethernet
• Colour: Red

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to your network device (PC, switch, router or patch panel) and the other connector to the corresponding port on the remote device. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure physical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and places with strong electromagnetic interference. For rack installations, use cable management accessories to keep runs neat and reduce strain on connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid exceeding the recommended installer bend radius and keep the cable away from high-voltage power lines or large transformers. When deploying multiple cables, use colour-coding to simplify maintenance and troubleshooting. Verify link speed and duplex settings on connected devices to confirm gigabit operation.
