Lindy 47737 sieťový kábel červený 7,5 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy RJ-45 Cat.6 S/FTP 7.5m Red is a shielded Ethernet cable designed for reliable gigabit network connections. With S/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors, this 7.5 metre cable reduces electromagnetic interference and ensures consistent data transfer for wired networks in home and office environments. The red jacket provides clear visual identification and helps organise cabling runs.

Advantages

S/FTP construction combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs to minimise crosstalk and external interference, improving signal integrity over the cable length. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs provide corrosion resistance and reliable contact with network ports. The 7.5 m length offers flexibility for typical desk-to-switch and equipment-to-router connections while the coloured jacket simplifies cable management and identification in multi-cable installations.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Connecting desktops, laptops and network printers to switches or routers
• Establishing gigabit Ethernet links in home offices and small business networks
• Cabling in structured cabling runs where visual identification is required
• Temporary or permanent connections in AV, gaming or streaming setups

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat.6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually shielded pairs)
• Supported speeds: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Length: 7.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Red

How to use

Insert the gold-plated RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding Ethernet ports on your devices until the latch clicks into place. Ensure both ends are fully seated to establish a secure physical and electrical connection. For optimal performance, avoid tight bends and kinks in the cable and route it away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as transformers or heavy electrical wiring. If used in a patch panel or keystone jack, verify correct wiring order and termination for Cat.6 standards.

Recommendations

For stable gigabit performance, keep cable runs within recommended lengths, avoid excessive bending radius, and use properly rated patch panels and connectors. Use the red jacket to mark critical links or separate network segments for easier maintenance and troubleshooting.
