Lindy 47779 sieťový kábel čierny 2 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy 47779 Black 2m Cat6 S/FTP networking cable provides a reliable wired connection for devices requiring stable Gigabit Ethernet performance. Constructed as a Cat6 cable with S/FTP shielding and fitted with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors at both ends, it is designed to support 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks and to minimise external electromagnetic interference. Its 2 m length and black finish make it suitable for both visible and concealed installations in home and office environments.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil shield with individually screened pairs to reduce crosstalk and protect against external noise, improving signal integrity for high-speed data transmission. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure consistent contact quality and resist corrosion over time. The Cat6 specification supports Gigabit Ethernet and provides headroom for stable network performance in typical LAN deployments. A 2 m cable length limits excess slack while offering sufficient reach between network equipment and workstations.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, laptops and networked peripherals to routers, switches and wall outlets
• Wired Gigabit internet and local area network (LAN) connections
• Office desk setups and home entertainment systems requiring reliable wired links
• Environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is important (near other cables or electronic equipment)

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Supported network speeds: 10/100/1000 Mbps (Gigabit Ethernet)
• Length: 2 m
• Colour: Black

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your router, switch or wall outlet and the other connector into the Ethernet port of your computer, gaming console or network device. Ensure the connectors click into place to confirm a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; maintain gentle curves and avoid kinking the cable to preserve signal performance. When connecting multiple devices, power down equipment if required by the manufacturer's instructions before making or breaking connections.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable away from high-voltage power lines and strong sources of electromagnetic interference. Use the 2 m length where a short, tidy connection is preferred; for longer runs select appropriately rated cable length. Inspect connectors periodically for dust or damage and replace the cable if physical wear compromises the shielding or contacts.
