Lindy 47784 sieťový kábel čierny 15 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy RJ-45 Cat.6 S/FTP 15m Black is a 15-metre Ethernet cable designed for wired network connections that require reliable performance and reduced electromagnetic interference. Constructed to Cat6 standards with S/FTP (shielded foiled twisted pair) configuration and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors, this cable supports Gigabit Ethernet over 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks while maintaining stable data transmission in home, office or small server-room installations.

Advantages

Shielding on each twisted pair plus an overall foil shield reduces crosstalk and external interference, improving signal integrity in environments with multiple cables or electronic equipment. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide stable contact and resistance to corrosion, supporting consistent throughput over time. The 15 m length offers extended reach for flexible device placement without relying on additional network hardware. The black outer jacket offers a neutral appearance suitable for visible installations.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Connecting desktop computers, laptops and network printers to switches or routers
• Wiring networked audio/video devices and IP cameras requiring shielded cabling
• Linking network switches across office workspaces or meeting rooms
• Temporary or permanent connections in home networks and small business LANs

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (individual foil on pairs + overall foil)
• Length: 15 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X) (Gigabit Ethernet compatible)
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the Ethernet port of your device and the other to a switch, router or wall socket. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, kinks and tight bundling with power cables where possible to maintain shielding effectiveness. For in-wall or permanent installations, verify local building codes and use appropriate cable management hardware.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel and close to mains power lines or large electrical equipment; cross such cables at right angles if necessary. Use Cat6-compliant patch panels and keystone jacks for structured cabling to preserve Gigabit speeds, and test links with a network cable tester after installation.
