Lindy 47806 Sieťový kábel oranžový 0,5 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy RJ-45 Cat.6 S/FTP 0.5m Orange networking cable (MPN: 47806, EAN: 4002888478069) is a short patch cable designed for high-speed Ethernet connections. It features Category 6 performance with S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair) construction and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to support reliable data transmission for 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks. The cable's 0.5 m length and bright orange jacket make it suitable for port-to-port connections in dense racks, patch panels, or desktop setups where a compact, visible link is required.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk compared with unshielded cables, helping maintain signal integrity in environments with multiple adjacent cables or electronic equipment. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide corrosion resistance and stable contact for consistent performance. The short 0.5 m length minimizes excess cable clutter and supports tidy cable management. The orange colour improves visibility for easier identification of specific links in complex installations.

Suitable for

• Short Ethernet patch connections between switches, routers, and patch panels
• Desktop network connections where a compact cable is preferred
• Environments requiring shielded Cat6 cabling to reduce interference
• Colour-coded installations for quick identification and maintenance

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network device (switch, router or network card) and plug the other RJ-45 connector into the corresponding port on the connected device. Ensure both devices are powered and configured for 10/100/1000Base-T(X) operation as required. Use the 0.5 m length for close-proximity connections to avoid excess slack; route the cable visually to maintain separation from power lines and sources of strong electromagnetic interference when possible.

Recommendations

For best results, verify device port compatibility with Cat6 cabling and use the orange cable to mark specific network segments or functions. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling force on connectors; maintain gentle cable bends with a radius greater than the cable diameter. In locations with particularly high interference, confirm that both ends and connected equipment support shielded cabling to maximize S/FTP effectiveness.
