Lindy 47807 Sieťový kábel oranžový 1 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy RJ-45 Cat.6 S/FTP 1m Orange networking cable (MPN 47807, EAN 4002888478076) is a 1 metre Category 6 patch lead designed for reliable high-speed data transmission in Ethernet networks. Constructed with S/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors, this cable supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) applications while offering improved protection against electromagnetic and crosstalk interference. The orange jacket provides clear visual identification in patch panels and cable runs.

Advantages

The S/FTP (Shielded Foiled Twisted Pair) construction minimises external interference and pair-to-pair crosstalk, helping to maintain signal integrity at gigabit speeds. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure consistent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The 1 m length suits short patch connections between switches, patch panels and network devices. The orange colour enhances cable management by making runs and ports easy to identify.

Suitable for

• Short patch connections in data centres and server rooms
• Office network connections between switches, routers and wall outlets
• Structured cabling where S/FTP shielding is required to reduce interference
• Home networks requiring reliable gigabit Ethernet links

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to a network device such as a switch, router or wall outlet and the other end to the corresponding device or patch panel port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to guarantee a secure physical and electrical connection. Use the 1 m cable for short-distance patching where minimal slack is required. If routing through racks or conduits, avoid sharp bends and maintain recommended bend radius to preserve cable performance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, route the Lindy Cat.6 S/FTP cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference (large motors, fluorescent ballasts or mains power runs). Use colour-coding in patch panels and cable management systems to take advantage of the orange jacket for easy identification. Verify link speed and duplex settings on connected devices when installing in mixed-speed networks.
