Lindy 47813 sieťový kábel oranžový 10 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy RJ-45 Cat.6 S/FTP 10m Orange networking cable is a Category 6 patch lead designed for wired Ethernet connections up to gigabit speeds. It uses S/FTP shielding (braided overall shield plus individually foil‑shielded pairs) to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, and is fitted with gold‑plated RJ-45 connectors for improved contact reliability. The 10 m length provides flexibility for connecting devices across rooms or within rack and desk installations, while the orange jacket improves cable identification in structured cabling systems.

Advantages

S/FTP construction offers enhanced protection against external interference and pair‑to‑pair crosstalk compared with unshielded cables. Gold‑plated RJ-45 connectors help maintain low contact resistance and better corrosion resistance over time. The 10 m length balances reach and signal integrity for most home and office layouts, and the bright orange colour makes runs easy to trace during installation and maintenance. Designed for 10/100/1000Base‑T(X) networks, it supports reliable data transmission for common network equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, switches, routers and patch panels in office environments
• Home network wiring where a visible, easy-to-trace cable is preferred
• Temporary or permanent cabling in small server rooms and comms closets
• Environments with potential interference from nearby electrical equipment

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat.6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + foil individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold‑plated contacts
• Supported Ethernet: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Length: 10 m
• Outer colour: Orange

How to use

Plug one gold‑plated RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other into a switch, router or wall outlet designed for Ethernet. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends, crushing or proximity to high‑power mains cabling to maintain optimal performance. For structured installations, label both ends if multiple orange cables are used in the same area.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid bending the cable at acute angles and maintain separation from unshielded power lines where possible. Use the cable within standard indoor temperature ranges and secure it with appropriate cable management accessories rather than staples or adhesive tapes that could damage the jacket. When connecting in shielded installations, ensure proper grounding of equipment and patch panels to benefit from the S/FTP shielding.
