Lindy 47829 sieťový kábel fialový 15 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy RJ-45 Cat.6 S/FTP 15m Violet networking cable provides a 15 meter connection designed for Gigabit Ethernet environments. Constructed to Cat.6 specifications with S/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors, the cable is intended to deliver consistent data transmission while reducing electromagnetic and crosstalk interference. The violet jacket distinguishes the cable visually for easy identification within structured cabling runs.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil screen with individually shielded pairs to limit external interference and pair-to-pair crosstalk, supporting stable high-speed signals over the full 15 m length. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide improved contact reliability and corrosion resistance for long-term performance. The Cat.6 specification supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks, making the cable suitable for typical office, studio, and data distribution applications. The violet colour helps with cable management and rapid traceability in multi-cable installations.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections in offices and home networks
• Connecting switches, routers, patch panels and networked devices
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference
• Structured cabling where colour-coded identification is needed

Key specifications

• Cable length: 15 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Contact plating: gold-plated connectors
• Product colour: Violet

How to use

Route the Lindy Cat.6 S/FTP cable between the two network endpoints, ensuring connectors are fully inserted into the devices' RJ-45 ports until the latch clicks. Avoid tight bends and kinks; maintain a bend radius consistent with the cable diameter to preserve signal integrity. Keep the cable away from strong sources of electrical noise when possible and secure it using appropriate cable ties or organizers to prevent strain at connector ends. After connecting, verify link activity and data rates on network equipment to confirm successful installation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable within the intended 15 m run length and in environments compatible with Cat.6 cabling standards. When installing multiple cables, maintain separation from high-voltage power lines and use consistent colour-coding to simplify identification and maintenance.
