Lindy 47838 sieťový kábel sivý 2 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy Cat.6 S/FTP 2m networking cable is a 2 metre grey Ethernet lead designed for reliable wired connections in home and office environments. Built to Cat6 standards and fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, the cable uses S/FTP (shielded foiled twisted pair) construction to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity over short to medium distances. The compact 2 m length makes it suitable for connecting devices where routing space is limited or patching between nearby network points.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding minimises crosstalk and external interference, supporting stable data transfer in electrically noisy environments. Cat6 specification ensures support for Gigabit Ethernet and higher bandwidth requirements typical of modern networks. The cable's RJ-45 terminations provide universal compatibility with network ports on routers, switches, PCs and other Ethernet-enabled devices. A grey jacket delivers a neutral appearance that blends into residential and professional setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, laptops or NAS devices to local routers or switches
• Patch connections in office network racks, patch panels and wall outlets
• Home entertainment systems and smart TV wired connections
• Temporary or permanent workstation cabling where a 2 m length is sufficient

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding type: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foiled pairs)
• Length: 2 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your source device (such as a router or switch) and insert the other connector into the Ethernet port of the target device (such as a PC, smart TV or NAS). Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure physical connection. For best performance, avoid tight bends and keep the cable away from high-power electrical lines or heavy machinery that could introduce interference. Test the connection with network tools or device status indicators to confirm link speed and activity.

Recommendations

Use this 2 m Cat.6 S/FTP cable for short-distance high-speed links where reduced interference is important. For longer runs or in extreme EMI environments consider appropriate longer or higher-rated cabling and follow installation guidelines for cable routing and strain relief.
