Lindy 5m Cat.6A S/FTP Locking sieťový kábel, sivý

The Lindy 5m Cat.6A RJ-45 S/FTP Grey locking network cable provides physical security and high-performance data transmission. The locking RJ-45 plug secures the connection against accidental or unauthorised removal and is released only with the supplied security key. The cable is Cat.6A S/FTP rated, supports frequencies up to 500 MHz and is designed for 10GBase-T Ethernet. The halogen-free LSZH sheath reduces smoke and eliminates toxic halogen emissions, making the cable suitable for public and enclosed spaces.

Advantages

The cable combines an S/FTP shielding scheme (braid overall shield plus foil‑shielded twisted pairs) for improved EMI immunity with gold‑plated contacts for corrosion‑resistant, reliable connections. A snagless strain relief protects the connector latch during installation and removal. The locking mechanism adds physical tamper resistance while individual polybag packaging preserves cable condition until use.

Suitable for

• High-speed LAN connections requiring 10GBase-T performance
• Data centres, server cabinets and office networking where cable security is needed
• Environments requiring low smoke and halogen-free materials (public buildings, schools, hospitals)
• Patch panels, switches and active network equipment with RJ-45 ports

How to use

Insert the locking RJ-45 plug into the device port until it engages. To secure the connection, turn or engage the locking mechanism as instructed with the supplied key; the cable can only be removed using that key. Use the snagless strain relief to guide the cable and avoid pulling on the connector. Route the cable following standard cable management practices and avoid sharp bends to maintain performance.

Recommendations

For optimal 10GBase-T performance, keep cable length within recommended limits for Cat.6A and avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines. Store unused cables in their polybags to prevent contamination, and use the supplied key to control access to secured connections.
