Lindy 70 m sklolaminátový hybridný Mini DisplayPort 1.4 kábel s odnímateľnými DisplayPort konektormi

The Lindy Fibre Optic Hybrid Mini DisplayPort 1.4 Cable (70 m) is a hybrid fibre-and-copper solution designed to extend Mini DisplayPort/DisplayPort signals over long distances without additional adapters. With a slim 4.8 mm sheath and a narrow metal Mini DisplayPort connector, the cable passes easily through conduit and tight spaces. A detachable DisplayPort-style connector can be fitted at the far end to connect to a wider range of displays and devices. The cable supports DP 1.4 features and is suitable for professional AV and commercial installations requiring reliable long-distance video and audio transmission.

Advantages

The hybrid construction combines fibre optic transmission for long-distance, low-interference signal delivery with copper conductors for connector compatibility and power signalling. The thin, premium metal Mini DisplayPort connector reduces the risk of damage during installation in confined routes, while the detachable DisplayPort connector provides flexibility to configure Mini DP-to-Mini DP, DP-to-DP or Mini DP-to-DP connections. Support for DP 1.4 enables up to 8K@60Hz or 4K@120Hz, along with static and dynamic HDR for improved colour range and contrast.

Suitable for

• Long-distance AV signal runs in retail and digital signage installations
• Exhibition, event and immersive AV setups
• Transportation and public display systems where EMI/RFI resistance is required
• Professional environments needing Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort connectivity over extended distances

How to use

Route the 4.8 mm hybrid cable through conduit or other narrow pathways to the required location without fitting the detachable connector. Once the cable is in place, attach the detachable DisplayPort connector at the end that will connect to the display or source, ensuring secure mechanical and electrical engagement. Connect the Mini DisplayPort plug to the source device. Verify display settings and DP 1.4 capabilities on both source and display to enable desired resolutions and HDR modes.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid sharp bends and kinks during installation and secure the cable to prevent movement. Confirm that both source and display support DP 1.4 features for 8K or 4K@120Hz operation; where necessary, update firmware or drivers. Use the detachable connector only after the cable run is complete to protect the internal fibre element during installation.
