How to use

Connect the USB A male plug to the host computer or hub and plug the USB A female end into the peripheral device. If the connected device requires more power or if you are chaining several active extensions, connect a compatible DC power supply to the cable’s DC socket before powering the host. The cable supports plug-and-play; the host should recognise the device automatically.

Recommendations

Do not exceed the manufacturer’s recommended chaining limit: up to five Lindy USB 3.0 Active Extension Slim cables can be combined, but if you include the 15 m version (MPN 43404) in the chain, limit the number of additional 8 m (or other) extensions accordingly because the 15 m unit contains two chipsets.
