Longshine LCS-8337TXR2 Gigabit Ethernet PCIe x1 sieťový adaptér, Realtek RTL8111E, Low-Profile

The Longshine LCS-8337TXR2 stands out by pairing a proven Realtek RTL8111E controller with a slim PCIe x1 footprint and a bundled low-profile bracket—making it an unusually flexible upgrade for both standard desktops and compact small-form-factor PCs. Unlike generic gigabit cards, it delivers full N-Way auto-negotiation, jumbo frame support up to 9 KB, and PXE boot capability right out of the box.

Highlights

• Gigabit Ethernet over PCI Express x1 (PCIe 1.1) for wide compatibility
• Realtek RTL8111E chipset with stable, widely supported drivers
• Supports 10/100/1000 Mbps with auto-negotiation and full/half duplex
• Includes both standard and low-profile brackets for versatile installation
• Wake-on-LAN, PXE, jumbo frames, VLAN tagging, and QoS prioritization

In daily use

Installation is straightforward: the card fits any PCIe x1 slot, and the included low-profile bracket means it can also drop into slimline or mini-ITX cases without modification. Once seated, the RTL8111E is recognized by Windows, Linux, and macOS, so you can be online in minutes. The single RJ-45 port with link/activity LEDs gives instant visual confirmation of connection status, while IEEE 802.3x flow control helps prevent packet loss during heavy transfers. For IT administrators, PXE support enables network booting for imaging or thin-client deployments, and Wake-on-LAN allows remote power management.
