How to use

Install the switch on a wall or other suitable surface and connect the 54 V DC power adapter to the DC-in jack. Connect IP cameras, VoIP phones or other PoE-capable devices to the PoE-enabled RJ-45 ports; use the remaining RJ-45 port as an uplink to your router or core switch. Access the management interface through the network to configure VLANs, STP/RSTP, PoE watchdog and other settings. Use the topology recognition feature to discover connected IP devices and verify correct network layout.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, ensure the total PoE power consumption of connected devices does not exceed the 45 W budget. When deploying cameras at distances greater than 100 m, verify PoE long-range mode and cable quality to achieve up to 300 m transmission. Enable STP/RSTP to protect against network loops and configure VLANs to segment camera traffic from other network services.
