Length: 16 cm; Weight: 200 g.

Advantages

The short half ball allows secure attachment of flat-base heads to 60mm bowl tripods while keeping overall height low. Its 3/8" male thread ensures compatibility with a wide range of video heads and accessories. The compact construction supports precise leveling and stable operation for video setups.

Suitable for

• Mounting Manfrotto and other flat-base video heads (e.g., MVH500AH) on tripods with a 60mm bowl
• On-location video production where a low-profile head adapter is required
• Studio and field setups needing stable, repeatable leveling of video heads

How to use

Attach the 3/8" male thread of the half ball to the flat-base video head or adapter, then insert the half ball into the tripod's 60mm bowl. Use the short locking handle to secure the half ball in the bowl and tighten until the head is stable. Adjust the head for level and tension as required by your head model before operating the camera.

Recommendations

For best results, ensure the bowl and half ball contact surfaces are clean and free of debris before mounting. Do not overtighten the locking handle; secure only until the head is stable to allow smooth pan and tilt movements. Verify compatibility with your specific video head model (for example, MVH500AH) and check tripod load capacity when adding heavy camera setups.
