Manhattan 5-portový Gigabit Ethernet switch, veľkosť pre stôl, plast, IEEE 802.3az (Energy Efficient Ethernet), záruka tri roky, box

The Manhattan 5-Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch is an unmanaged L2 switch designed to connect up to five Ethernet-ready devices at speeds up to 1000 Mbps (1 Gbps) over standard Cat5e or Cat6 cables. Compact and made of durable plastic, the switch supports full-duplex operation, has a 2048-entry MAC address table and complies with IEEE networking standards including energy-efficient 802.3az. It operates from a 5V DC input and is suitable for home, home office and small office environments.

Advantages

The switch provides five Gigabit RJ-45 ports for high-speed wired connections without requiring configuration. Its unmanaged design enables plug-and-play installation with automatic link negotiation and full-duplex support. Green Ethernet (IEEE 802.3az) reduces power consumption by monitoring activity and powering down unused ports. The unit is lightweight and compact, making it easy to place near routers, media devices or workstations.

Suitable for

• Home office networking — connecting PCs, laptops and printers
• Home entertainment setups — Smart TVs, media streamers and gaming consoles
• Small office workgroups — basic wired connectivity for up to five devices
• Network-attached storage and backups requiring stable wired throughput

Key specifications

• Switch type: Unmanaged L2
• Ports: 5 × Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000) RJ-45
• Switching capacity: 1 Gbit/s
• MAC address table: 2048 entries
• Standards: IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, 802.3ab, 802.3x, 802.3az (Energy Efficient Ethernet)
• Power input: 5V DC
• Colour: White
• Weight: 0.3285 kg

How to use

Place the switch on a flat, ventilated surface near your router or network devices. Connect the switch to your router or existing network using a Cat5e or Cat6 Ethernet cable, then plug each device into any of the five RJ-45 ports. Connect the included 5V DC power adapter and power the unit on; the switch will automatically negotiate link speed and duplex settings for each connection. No configuration is required for standard operation.

Recommendations

For reliable Gigabit performance, use Cat5e or Cat6 cables and avoid long cable runs that exceed standard Ethernet limits. Place the switch away from heat sources and ensure adequate ventilation. If you plan to connect bandwidth-intensive devices (e.g., NAS, streaming servers, gaming consoles), connect them directly to the switch to benefit from full wired throughput.
