Märklin 039993 H0 elektrický rušeň BR E 94 DB (múzejný rušeň)

The Märklin 039993 H0 Electric Locomotive BR E 94 DB is a collector's piece that stands apart from ordinary models: it is the official Märklin Museumslokomotive, reproducing the iconic heavy freight locomotive in its Era IV condition as road number E 94 056. Built to H0 scale (1:87) with a metal body and chassis, this model delivers the presence and durability expected from a premium display and operating locomotive.

Highlights

• Equipped with an mfx+ digital decoder, offering extensive sound functions including operating sounds, horn, compressor, braking, and station announcements.
• High-efficiency propulsion with flywheel and two traction tires for smooth, powerful operation.
• Direction-dependent triple headlights and dual red marker lights using LEDs, plus cab lighting and engine room lighting.
• Separately applied metal pantographs and NEM coupler pockets with close coupling mechanism.
• Switchable long-distance headlights, shunting gear, and acceleration/braking delay for realistic operation.

In daily use

On a layout with a minimum radius of 360 mm, the locomotive runs reliably on standard H0 track with a 16.5 mm gauge. The AC power system and digital compatibility (mfx+, DCC, Motorola) make it versatile for modern digital layouts. The length over buffers is 210 mm, fitting well with Era IV rolling stock.
