Mechanická osobná váha Salter 489 WHFEU12

The Salter 489 WHFEU12 is a large-dial mechanical bathroom scale designed for straightforward home weighing. It presents a classic, analog display with a robust mechanical movement that requires no batteries. The scale supports up to 150 kg and has a textured non-slip platform for safe use in a bathroom environment. The clear, easy-to-read dial and durable construction make it suitable for routine personal weight checks.

Advantages

The mechanical mechanism delivers consistent readings without the need for batteries or electronic components, reducing maintenance and potential faults. The large dial and high-contrast markings improve legibility for users of different ages. The scale’s sturdy platform and non-slip surface provide stability and safe footing, while its classic design integrates with a variety of bathroom interiors. The device’s maximum capacity of 150 kg accommodates a broad range of users.

Suitable for

• Home bathroom weighing for adults and adolescents
• Everyday routine weight monitoring
• Situations where battery-free operation is preferred
• Environments requiring a stable, non-slip weighing surface

Key specifications

• Measurement type: mechanical/analog dial
• Maximum capacity: 150 kg
• Platform surface: textured non-slip
• Display: large circular dial with high-contrast markings
• Construction: robust frame for stable weighing

How to use

Place the scale on a flat, level surface to ensure accurate readings. Step onto the center of the textured platform with both feet and stand still until the dial pointer settles on a value. Read the measurement at eye level to avoid parallax error. For repeat checks, remove weight from the platform and allow the mechanism to return to zero before stepping on again. Keep the dial clean and free of obstructions to maintain clear visibility of the markings.

Recommendations

For best accuracy, use the scale on a hard, even floor rather than carpet, and perform measurements at a consistent time of day. Avoid exposing the mechanical components to excessive moisture; wipe the surface dry after use and store the scale in a ventilated area. Regularly check that the dial returns to zero before weighing and avoid placing heavy objects on the platform when not in use to prevent undetectable drift.
