Microconnect MC-UTP605B-CONSOLE sieťový kábel čierny 5 m Cat6 U/UTP (UTP)

The Microconnect MC-UTP605B-CONSOLE is a 5 m Cat6 networking cable with U/UTP construction designed for reliable data transmission in small networks and console connections. It comes in black and is fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends with gold-plated contacts to improve conductivity and resist corrosion.

Advantages

The Cat6 specification and U/UTP shielding reduce electromagnetic interference and support stable throughput for typical Ethernet applications. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts provide improved contact reliability and longevity. A 5 m length offers flexibility for connecting equipment within racks, between patch panels and consoles, or for desktop setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting network devices such as switches, routers and patch panels
• Console and management connections for network equipment
• Desk and rack cabling where a 5 m cable length is appropriate

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet or console port until it clicks. Ensure connectors are fully seated and routed to avoid sharp bends or stress on the cable. For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines and maintain appropriate bend radius for Cat6 cabling.

Recommendations

Use the cable for short to medium runs up to 5 m in typical office, rack or lab environments and replace if connectors show visible wear or if data errors increase. For longer runs or where additional immunity to interference is required, consider higher-grade shielding or different cable categories.
