Microconnect SFTP701O sieťový kábel oranžový 1 m Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Microconnect SFTP701O RJ-45 Cat7 1 m Orange is a shielded high-performance networking cable designed for reliable connections between network devices such as switches, modems and routers, or to structured cabling via patch panels, keystone jacks and wall outlets. The 1 m orange cable supports Cat7 performance and is manufactured with RJ-45 connectors compatible with Cat6a and earlier standards, making it suitable for small office, home networks and entertainment setups.

Advantages

This S/FTP Cat7 cable is tested to Cat7 frequency ranges and provides shielding that reduces electromagnetic interference (EMI) and crosstalk, helping to maintain data integrity and stable transmission rates. The cable uses RJ-45 connectors that maintain backward compatibility with Cat6a, Cat6, Cat5e and Cat5, and includes a molded strain-relief (snagless) design to protect the connector during installation in tight spaces. The bright orange colour improves visibility and cable management.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and modems to patch panels or wall jacks
• Small office and home network installations
• High-speed Ethernet and entertainment devices

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat7 (tested up to 600 MHz)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall shield with individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Length: 1 m
• Color: Orange
• Weight: 0.03 kg
• Compatibility: Backwards compatible with Cat6a, Cat6, Cat5e, Cat5

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network ports on your devices (for example, from a switch to a wall outlet or from a router to a modem). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable through cable channels or conduits as needed and avoid sharp bends or excessive pulling to preserve shielding and conductor integrity. For structured cabling, terminate or connect the cable to compatible patch panels or keystone jacks.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep cable runs within recommended lengths for the intended Ethernet standard, avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines for extended distances, and use properly grounded patch panels and equipment to maximize the effectiveness of the S/FTP shielding.
