Microconnect SFTP720S sieťový kábel čierny 20 m Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Microconnect SFTP720S RJ-45 Cat7 networking cable, 20 m in black, provides a high-performance wired link between network devices such as switches, modems and routers or to structured cabling via patch panels, keystone jacks or wall outlets. The cable is produced to Cat7 class specifications and uses S/FTP shielding with RJ‑45 connectors on both ends for robust data transmission in home and small office environments.

Advantages

This Cat7 cable is designed for high-frequency performance (tested up to 600 MHz) while using RJ‑45 connectors that meet Cat6a connector standards, ensuring backward compatibility with Cat6a, Cat6, Cat5e and Cat5. The S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference (EMI) and crosstalk, improving signal integrity and lowering error rates. A reinforced connector strain relief prevents damage to the connector during installation in tight spaces.

Suitable for

• Wiring between switches, routers and modems
• Connections to patch panels, keystone jacks and wall outlets
• Home and small office networks
• High‑speed data and entertainment applications

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7 (tested up to 600 MHz)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ‑45 on both ends (Cat6a‑compatible)
• Length: 20 m
• Colour: Black
• Typical uses: Ethernet networking, structured cabling

How to use

Plug an RJ‑45 connector into the network port of your device (switch, router, modem or wall outlet) and the other end into the corresponding port of the target device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are inserted fully until the clip clicks. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension; use appropriate cable management to maintain signal quality.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable away from strong sources of electrical noise and avoid bending the cable beyond the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius. Use the cable for Ethernet applications up to Cat7 frequencies and rely on its backwards compatibility when connecting to older network equipment.
