Midspan Axis 02172-002 príslušenstvo k bezpečnostnej kamere

AXIS 30 W Midspan is a single-port midspan power injector that supplies up to 30 W of Power over Ethernet (PoE) to one network device. It supports both IEEE 802.3af (15 W) and IEEE 802.3at (30 W) standards, ensuring compatibility with most Axis network products that have built-in PoE. The device injects both power and data into a single Ethernet cable, allowing existing network switches and cabling to remain in place.

Advantages

The AXIS 30 W Midspan provides a simple and cost-efficient way to power PoE-capable network devices without replacing switches or cabling. Compliance with IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at ensures wide compatibility. Delivering up to 30 W to a single port makes it suitable for cameras and other devices requiring higher PoE power.

Key specifications

• Power output: up to 30 W to one port
• Standards: IEEE 802.3af (15 W) and IEEE 802.3at (30 W)
• Ports: 1 PoE output port
• Function: Injects power and data over a single Ethernet cable

How to use

Install the AXIS 30 W Midspan between your network switch and the PoE-capable device by connecting the switch to the midspan’s input and the device to the PoE output. Ensure the connected device supports IEEE 802.3af or 802.3at. Power the midspan from an appropriate AC source and verify that the device receives both data and power over the same Ethernet cable.

Recommendations

Use the AXIS 30 W Midspan when you need to add PoE power to an existing non-PoE switch or when a single device requires up to 30 W. Confirm device compatibility with IEEE 802.3af/802.3at before installation.
