Monitor ASROCK PG27QFW2A IPS QHD 400Hz 16:9 s HDMI, DisplayPort a USB

The ASROCK PG27QFW2A is a 27-inch (68.5 cm) IPS gaming monitor with QHD (2560 × 1440) resolution and a 16:9 aspect ratio. Designed for high-frame-rate systems, it delivers an ultra-high 400Hz refresh rate and fast pixel response to reduce motion blur and improve clarity in fast-paced games. The monitor offers multiple input options including HDMI, DisplayPort and USB, and benefits from IPS technology for wide viewing angles and consistent color reproduction across the screen.

Advantages

The monitor combines QHD detail with a 400Hz refresh rate, enabling both increased image clarity and exceptionally smooth motion for competitive and fast-action titles. IPS panel technology provides wide viewing angles and stable color performance, while multiple connectivity options (HDMI, DisplayPort and USB) accommodate consoles, gaming PCs and peripherals. The combination of high refresh rate and responsive panel supports high-frame-rate GPU setups and reduces visual artifacts during rapid camera or object movement.

Suitable for

• Competitive esports and FPS titles where high refresh rates matter
• High-frame-rate PC gaming rigs and tournament play
• Fast-paced racing and action games
• Users who need wide viewing angles and consistent colors for multiplayer setups

When it may not be suitable

This monitor is focused on extremely high refresh rates and is optimized for systems capable of delivering very high frame rates. It may be less suitable for users who primarily run low-frame-rate content, casual office work, or those who prioritize absolute color-critical work over refresh performance. If your GPU cannot supply high frame rates at QHD resolution, you may not experience the full benefit of the 400Hz feature.

Key specifications

• Screen size: 27 inches (68.5 cm)
• Panel type: IPS
• Resolution: QHD (2560 × 1440)
• Aspect ratio: 16:9

How to use

Connect the monitor to your source using DisplayPort for the highest available refresh rates, or HDMI if your device requires it. Use the on-screen display menu to adjust refresh rate, color settings and response modes according to your preference; gaming or competitive presets can reduce input lag. Position the monitor at a comfortable viewing distance and angle to take advantage of the IPS panel’s wide viewing characteristics. If you plan to use USB peripherals, connect them to the monitor’s USB ports and enable any upstream USB connection to your PC as required.

What to consider before purchase

• Ensure your graphics card and system can output high frame rates at QHD resolution to benefit from 400Hz
• Check that your preferred connection (DisplayPort or HDMI) supports the required refresh rate on your source device
• Consider desk space and mounting options for a 27-inch display

Recommendations

For competitive play, use DisplayPort connection, enable the highest refresh rate in both the GPU driver and monitor OSD, and select a low-latency response mode. Calibrate color and brightness to your environment for the most comfortable long sessions.
