Busch-Jaeger 6131/30-24 is a ceiling-mounted multi-sensor for smart homes that detects presence and motion to control lighting and automate functions. It supports two independent channels and a constant light function for brightness-dependent switching of up to two separate light circuits. The device integrates a KNX bus coupler and is designed for installation in false ceilings with board thickness from 9 to 25 mm; a Ø68 mm hole is required. Detection range is circular and depends on mounting height: for seated persons the maximum diameters are 8 m (2.5 m mounting), 10 m (3 m) and 14 m (4 m); for walking persons the maximum diameters are 10 m, 12 m and 16 m respectively. Visible height of the unit is 23 mm and the product is rated IP20.

Configure the two channels and constant light parameters via the KNX interface or the commissioning software to set brightness thresholds, presence detection behavior and two-stage power-off timings.

Recommendations
