Nabíjačka batérií Varta Eco Charger Multi — USB, NiMH AA/AAA, nabíja až 8 batérií (2100 mAh, 1 h), sivá

Varta Eco Charger Multi is a USB-powered charger designed for Nickel‑Metal Hydride (NiMH) AA and AAA rechargeable batteries. It supports single-slot and multi-slot charging of up to eight batteries simultaneously and features a compact grey housing made from 75% recycled materials. The charger includes a USB‑C input and cable, LED charging indication and built-in safety measures. Typical recharge time for a 2100 mAh AA cell is approximately 1 hour under appropriate power supply conditions. Physical dimensions are approximately 137.5 × 29 × 125.5 mm and the unit is intended for household battery maintenance and rapid refresh of remotes, toys, cameras and other portable devices.

Advantages

The Eco Charger Multi offers fast charging capability with a typical one‑hour recharge for high‑capacity AA cells and supports both AA and AAA sizes for flexible use. Its housing is produced from 75% recycled materials, combining sustainability with everyday practicality. Integrated safety features such as minus delta V cut‑off, safety timer, short‑circuit protection, wrong‑polarity detection and alkaline/bad cell detection reduce the risk of damage to batteries and connected devices. Single‑slot charging allows independent charging of individual cells while trickle charge maintains optimal battery condition after full charge.

Suitable for

• Recharging AA and AAA NiMH batteries for household devices
• Refreshing batteries for remote controls, toys and wireless peripherals
• Preparing spare batteries for cameras, flash units and portable electronics

How to use

Connect the charger to a suitable USB power source using the supplied USB‑C cable. Insert AA or AAA NiMH batteries into individual slots observing correct polarity; the charger supports charging of one cell or multiple cells at once. The green LED indicators show charging status for each slot. Allow the charger to complete its automatic charge cycle; for a typical 2100 mAh AA battery the charge time is around one hour when an adequately powered USB supply is used. After charging completes, remove the batteries and disconnect the charger from the power source if not in continual use.

Recommendations

Use a USB power source that provides sufficient current per the charger’s requirements to achieve the advertised 1‑hour charge time, and always insert batteries with correct polarity. Store the charger and batteries in a dry, ventilated area and avoid exposing the unit to extreme temperatures. For long‑term storage of NiMH cells, keep them partially charged and use the trickle charge function periodically to maintain capacity. Do not attempt to charge non‑rechargeable alkaline batteries and follow the built‑in indications for faulty or improperly inserted cells.
