QOLTEC EV car charger w/ adjust. Type2 2in1 3.5kW is a compact AC charger designed for regular charging of electric vehicles with a Type 2 inlet. Delivering up to 3.5 kW of charging power, the unit supports adjustable current settings to match vehicle acceptance and available electrical supply. The 2-in-1 design provides versatile compatibility and the compact form factor makes the charger suitable for installation in homes, garages or small workplaces where reliable overnight or slow charging is required.

Advantages

The charger provides a balance of compact size and functional flexibility through adjustable charging current and a Type 2 connection, enabling safe and steady AC charging. Its simple configuration and modest power output reduce installation complexity and help integrate with standard single-phase household electrical circuits. Built for daily use, the device supports consistent, controlled charging that is suitable for prolonged charging sessions without requiring high-power infrastructure.

Suitable for

• Home garages and residential parking where overnight charging is sufficient
• Small workplaces or offices with dedicated EV parking
• Owners of electric vehicles with Type 2 inlet for AC charging
• Situations where adjustable current is needed to match circuit limits

Key specifications

• Connector type: Type 2 (AC)
• Maximum charging power: 3.5 kW
• Power supply: single-phase AC (typical household supply)
• Adjustable charging current: configurable to suit vehicle and supply
• Design: compact wall-mounted or portable-friendly enclosure

How to use

Connect the charger to a compatible single-phase AC outlet and attach the Type 2 plug to the vehicle inlet. Adjust the charging current setting according to the vehicle’s accepted input and the available circuit capacity before initiating charging. Monitor charging progress via the vehicle’s onboard display or charging indicators on the unit, and terminate charging once the desired state of charge is reached. Installation should follow local electrical regulations and may require a qualified electrician for fixed mounting and final connection.

Recommendations

To ensure safe and efficient operation, verify the electrical circuit rating before setting the charger’s current, use the charger in dry, sheltered locations, and schedule charging during off-peak hours when possible to take advantage of lower electricity rates and reduced grid load.
