How to use

Mount the surface box to a stable wall substrate using appropriate fasteners for the wall material and expected load. Position and fix the box level and plumb at the planned installation height, then route supply and signal cables through the designated entry points. After the building shell and wiring are in place, attach compatible mounting frames and intercom modules into the box following the module manufacturer’s instructions. Seal any gaps as required to maintain weather resistance where the installation is exposed to the elements.

Recommendations

For long-term performance, install the box on a solid, dry surface and use corrosion-resistant fasteners suited to the wall material. Protect cables with appropriate grommets or conduit where they enter the housing. When installing outdoors, verify that the chosen intercom modules and seals provide the necessary ingress protection for the intended location.
