The Canon AC-E6N Indoor Black AC-to-DC Power Adapter provides a continuous mains power supply for compatible Canon cameras. Designed for indoor use, this adapter converts household AC voltage to the DC voltage required by camera equipment, allowing extended shooting, time-lapse recording, studio work, or tethered operation without relying on battery packs. The compact black unit connects to the camera via a compatible DC coupler or cable and is intended for reliable, low-noise power delivery during prolonged use.

Advantages

The adapter offers uninterrupted power suitable for long recording sessions, eliminating the need to change batteries frequently. Its compact black housing is unobtrusive in studio and indoor settings and integrates with camera setups that support external AC power. The design focuses on consistent voltage output and safe operation for consumer camera equipment, reducing downtime and ensuring stable performance when shooting continuously.

Suitable for

• Extended indoor shooting and video recording
• Studio photography and tethered workflows
• Time-lapse and long-exposure projects
• Live streaming or surveillance setups that use supported Canon cameras

Key specifications

• Input: standard household AC voltage (indoor use)
• Output: regulated DC voltage compatible with supported Canon camera models
• Colour: black
• Form factor: compact inline adapter designed for continuous operation
• Intended environment: indoor use; not rated for outdoor exposure to moisture

How to use

Connect the adapter to a suitable AC outlet using the supplied mains cable, then attach the DC output to the camera either directly or via the appropriate DC coupler specified for your camera model. Ensure the camera is switched off before connecting or disconnecting the adapter. After connection, power the camera on and confirm normal operation; the camera should draw power from the adapter instead of an internal battery. Disconnect the adapter when moving the camera to a location without mains access and replace with a charged battery if required.

Recommendations

Use the adapter only indoors and with compatible Canon camera models and the designated DC coupler or cable. Avoid exposure to liquids or extreme temperatures, and inspect cables for damage before each use. For safe long-term operation, place the adapter where it has adequate ventilation and avoid covering it during use.
