Nástenná doska / kryt vypínača Merten 478419, biela, jednoduchá

The Merten 478419 white wall plate / switch cover is a single-gang finishing element designed for Merten electrical systems. It provides a clean, uniform appearance around a single switch or socket and is supplied as one piece per pack. The plate is intended for indoor use in residential and commercial interiors where a compatible Merten mechanism is installed, allowing a neat and consistent finish to electrical fittings.

Advantages

This single-gang cover offers a smooth, white surface that blends with common interior decor and hides edges of the installed mechanism for a tidy look. Being a purpose-made Merten accessory, it aligns with the dimensions and mounting approach of Merten frames and modules, ensuring reliable fit and minimal gaps. The product is lightweight and easy to handle during installation or replacement, and its neutral color reduces visual contrast with surrounding walls.

Suitable for

• Finishing a single light switch opening in homes and apartments
• Covering a single socket or outlet in offices and commercial premises
• Replacing damaged or discolored single-gang covers to restore a uniform look
• Upgrading the visible finish of Merten switch and socket installations

Key specifications

• Color: white
• Type: single-gang wall plate / switch cover
• Compatibility: designed for Merten system single-module mechanisms and frames
• Material: rigid plastic (suitable for indoor electrical finishing)
• Finish: smooth, low-profile surface for a minimal visual footprint

How to use

Turn off power to the circuit before removing an existing cover or installing the new plate. Remove the mounting screws or clips of the old plate, detach it from the mechanism, and position the Merten wall plate over the installed switch or socket mechanism, aligning the cutout and screw holes. Secure the plate to the mechanism or frame according to the system's mounting method, ensuring it sits flush against the wall. After installation, restore power and verify that the switch or socket operates correctly and that the plate is stable and evenly seated.

Recommendations

For safe installation, always isolate the circuit at the breaker before working with cover plates. Use the Merten frame or compatible mounting accessories to guarantee correct alignment and secure fixation. Avoid exposing the plate to direct sunlight or high temperatures for long periods to prevent discoloration or deformation.
