Nástenný kryt elektrického vypínača-zásuvky JUNG CD 581 WU WW, biely, IP44

JUNG CD 581 WU WW is a white wall-mounted electrical switch and socket cover plate designed to protect and finish installations where additional protection against splashing water and dust is required. The cover plate features a weather-resistant design rated IP44, suitable for indoor and semi-outdoor locations such as bathrooms, utility rooms or sheltered outdoor areas. It supports both horizontal and vertical installation orientations and provides a clean, uniform appearance for compatible switches and sockets.

Advantages

The product offers IP44 protection that reduces the risk of water ingress from splashes and protects against solid objects greater than 1 mm, helping to maintain electrical safety in damp or exposed environments. Its white finish integrates with standard interior and technical installations, while the wall-mounted design simplifies retrofitting and replacement of existing cover plates. The design supports horizontal and vertical mounting, allowing flexible installation to match the orientation of the underlying mechanism.

How to use

Turn off the power supply to the circuit before starting installation. Remove the existing cover plate and ensure the underlying mechanism and wiring are accessible and undamaged. Position the JUNG cover plate over the installed switch or socket mechanism in the required orientation (horizontal or vertical) and secure it with the appropriate screws, taking care not to overtighten. After fastening, restore power and verify that switches and sockets operate correctly and that the cover sits flush against the wall surface.

Recommendations

Use this cover plate in environments where IP44 protection is sufficient; avoid direct exposure to heavy rain or immersion. For wet or unprotected outdoor locations, select products with a higher ingress protection rating. Periodically inspect the cover plate for cracks, deformation or loose mounting and clean with a soft damp cloth and mild detergent when necessary.
