It communicates over 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi, can replace a regular wall switch, fits into a standard electrical box or the Sonoff M-80 frame (frame sold separately), and includes an adjustable-brightness LED indicator for easy locating in the dark.

Advantages

The Sonoff M5-1C-80 provides reliable remote and local control of lighting and appliances using the eWeLink ecosystem and voice assistants. Mechanical quick-response buttons remain usable in gloves or by elderly users and support two-way or multi-way control when paired with accessories such as the Sonoff Scene Controller R5. The device offers consistent appearance with NSPanel, optional integration with DW2-WiFi sensors for scene automation, and can operate without cloud access via configurable LAN support.

Recommendations

Use only with compatible Sonoff devices and a stable 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi network. Ensure wiring is performed by a qualified electrician and verify voltage and current limits (max. 10 A, 100–240 V AC). For reliable smart-scene behavior without cloud access, enable local LAN support in the eWeLink app.
