Nástroj na otváranie iFixit EU145023-2

The iFixit EU145023-2 opening tool is a set designed for safely lifting and removing large glass panels from electronic devices. The kit includes two suction-cup tools with a 2.25" (5.71 cm) diameter, intended to provide a firm grip on glass without causing damage to screens or surrounding components. This accessory is suitable for repairs on iMacs, laptops with glass-sheathed displays, and other devices with large glass surfaces.

Advantages

These suction-cup opening tools offer a heavy-duty grip on glass panels while minimizing the risk of scratches or bending. The 2.25" diameter cups create a strong vacuum seal for controlled lifting and removal, and the set includes two cups to enable stable, balanced handling of larger panels. The tools are compact and replaceable, making them easy to store and use during both professional and DIY repairs.

Suitable for

• Removing iMac front glass and other desktop display panels
• Separating glass-sheathed laptop screens
• Lifting large glass panels during electronics repair and refurbishment
• Use in repair stations where controlled suction lifting is required

How to use

Place a suction cup on a clean, flat area of the glass and press firmly to form a vacuum seal. Use the second suction cup at a suitable distance to balance the load, then lift gently and evenly to separate the panel from the frame. If adhesive is present, apply steady, controlled force and work along the edge to avoid sudden movements. Release the suction by lifting the tab or edge of the cup when the panel is secured or repositioning is complete.

Recommendations

For safe operation, clean the glass surface before attaching the cups, avoid using on curved or heavily textured glass, and work with a second person for very large panels. Do not exceed the tool's intended use; these suction cups are for lifting and positioning glass during repair, not for long-term load-bearing applications.
