Neupravovaný switch Trendnet GREENnet TEG-S82G

The TRENDnet GREENnet TEG-S82G is an unmanaged 8-port Gigabit Ethernet switch designed for small office and home networks. It supports 10/100/1000 Mbps speeds on each RJ-45 port, offers a switching capacity of 16 Gbps in full-duplex mode and stores up to 8000 MAC addresses. The compact metal housing provides durable, rack-free installation for reliable high-speed connectivity while maintaining compliance with IEEE networking standards.

Advantages

GREENnet technology dynamically reduces power consumption by adjusting voltage according to link status and cable length, delivering up to 70% energy savings. The switch is plug-and-play, requires no configuration, and provides consistent Gigabit throughput across all eight ports with full-duplex support and a 16 Gbps switching fabric for low-latency traffic handling.

Suitable for

• Small office networks requiring reliable wired connections
• Home networks with multiple wired devices (PCs, NAS, media players)
• Edge connectivity for wireless access points or IP cameras
• Network expansion where unmanaged, maintenance-free switching is preferred

Key specifications

How to use

Place the TEG-S82G on a stable surface and connect it to a power outlet. Use standard Cat5e or Cat6 Ethernet cables to connect network devices to the RJ-45 ports. The switch is plug-and-play: connected devices will negotiate link speed and duplex automatically. No management interface or configuration is required.

Recommendations

For optimal energy savings and performance, use appropriate-length Ethernet cables (Cat5e or higher), locate the switch in a ventilated area, and connect high-bandwidth devices to separate ports to balance traffic across the 16 Gbps switching fabric.
