Freewell ND32 filter for Real Locking VND is a neutral density glass filter that reduces incoming light by 5 stops. It is created for the Real Locking VND/CPL mounting system and is intended for very bright shooting conditions, for example midday sun. True Color optics preserve natural color rendition without noticeable color cast.

How to use

Attach the ND32 by pressing the side tabs and clipping the filter into the L1 base ring or another compatible Real Locking system element; no threading or tools are required. Verify that the filter is locked and there is no play or rotation before shooting. Use wider apertures and longer shutter speeds to create motion blur or smooth water surfaces. Remove the filter when additional exposure or polarization control is not needed.

Recommendations

Use the ND32 in very bright lighting such as midday sun. Combine it with the Real Locking CPL if polarization control is needed. Store the filter in the supplied shockproof case when transporting and clean the glass with the provided cloth to avoid scratches and dust on the optical surface.
